Coldplay performed a new song titled “Houston” at a recent concert in Miami, as HuffPost points out, paying tribute to those in the Texas city affected by Hurricane Harvey. Frontman Chris Martin explained that the song was a “once-off” for the occasion, and that the band would never play it again. “This is because we all grew up loving country music, and of course that’s kind of what we think of when we go to Texas,” he said, prefacing the performance. “We’re gonna sing it in Miami for everybody here, and we’re gonna send it over there to everyone who missed the show.” Watch it go down below. Coldplay’s most recent release, their Kaleidoscope EP, was released this summer.
