The Unsigned Music Awards return for 2018

The Unsigned Music Awards (UMA’s) are back in 2018, bigger, bolder and — with your help — exploding with talent.
In a hunt for the UK’s most promising independent artists, the award show will act as the opening ceremony to the Brighton’s pivotal music festival, The Great Escape. Taking place in the main arena at the Brighton Centre the event is looking to be a bigger than ever.
For 2018, the UMA’s have secured a partnership with Live Nation, a global leader in concert promotion. Live Nation is set to film the ceremony and deliver the content for broadcasting.
Further support for the event comes from the likes of Ticketmaster, Shazam, Music Week and of course, The Great Escape. The first two sponsors for the 2018 event have been announced; they are Mood Media (returning from 2016) and global booking agency, Strange Place Concerts – an imprint of Martial Arts Agency.
The voting panel for the 2018 UMAs includes more than one hundred industry leaders including Kobalt Music, BBC Music, Spotify, Shazam, Live Nation, CAA, Coda Agency, MTV, The Great Escape, Ticketmaster and many more.

Windows 10 to Feature Eye Tracking Support

The new feature will be primarily aimed at helping people suffering from neuromuscular diseases likes ALS, with the company using a system developed for former NFL player Steve Gleason a couple of years ago as the pioneer of the new technologies.
