“I’m the One” is a song written and performed by American musician DJ Khaled; Canadian singer Justin Bieber; and American rappers Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne. The song was released on April 28, 2017, by We the Best and Epic Records as the second single from Khaled’s upcoming tenth studio album, Grateful.

“I’m the One” debuted a top the Billboard Hot 100, earning DJ Khaled, Chance the Rapper, and Quavo their first number one single in the US. It became Bieber’s fourth chart-topper, following the first three singles off Purpose. Lil Wayne topped the chart for the first time since 2009 and third time overall. The song also entered the UK Singles Chart at number one, becoming DJ Khaled’s, Quavo’s, Lil Wayne’s, and Chance the Rapper’s first, and Bieber’s fifth chart-topping song. It also entered at number one in Australia, Scotland, and Canada, and debuted in the top ten in various countries, including Germany, Ireland, and New Zealand.

The chrous of this song is catchy and easy to remember, making it a surefire drinking song that everyone at the bar or party will sing along to.

Each featured artists puts their own style into their verse, which began with Quavo.
A member of the popular hip-hop trio out of North Atlana, Migos, Quavo has an incredibly recognizable sound, and is fresh off his feature on Drake’s new top-ten hit, “Portland”.
Chance the Rapper, an artist who has been all over the charts since the release of his third EP last summer, sings the second featured verse, flaunting his signature style.

The line that has stood out so far to fans all across the internet won’t fail to put a smile on the face of anyone who truly enjoys Chance as an artist as it reads, “When I met her in the club I asked her who she felt, then she went and put that booty on the Gucci belt”.

The immediate popularity of the line led the rapper to post on Twitter saying, “The video just reminded me to grab more belts for tour #imtheone”.

The final part in the song belows to the one and only Weezy.
His incredibly unique sound shines bright, and so does his rhyming ability when he ends four consecutive lines with the word body.

All in all, “I’m the One” is a bright, enjoyable record. And undoubtedly, “I’m the One” is well on its way to giving the DJ another platinum single.
