The Queen of England‘s favourite song has reportedly been revealed after it was played at an exclusive Windsor Castle banquet.
DJ, Chris Evans, reported a friend of his had been invited to the regal meal where the Queen had announced her favourite song. After the dinner party and speeches took place, a royal disco for the guests began and a DJ played “proper disco music“.
During the dance, the DJ reportedly dropped ABBA‘s ‘Dancing Queen‘ which resulted in a huge smile spreading across Queen Elizabeth’s face as recognised the track.
She immediately went straight to the dance-floor before angelically uttering the words: “I always try to dance when this song comes on, because I am the Queen, and I like to dance”.
As the stunned guests looked on, one of them muttered: “My goodness me, there is the Dancing Queen.” Quite a fitting track for the occasion.
