The Breeders have announced new North American tour dates. Following one show opening for Arcade Fire in St. Paul, MN, on October 29, the band will play headlining dates in Detroit, Boston, New York City, Seattle, and more. Check out their full U.S. tour itinerary, as well as their European dates for October. The last time Kim Deal and company hit the road was in 2014. The year prior to that, their landmark album LSXX was given an extensive reissue. The Breeders’ last studio album, Mountain Battles, was released in 2008.

The new feature will be primarily aimed at helping people suffering from neuromuscular diseases likes ALS, with the company using a system developed for former NFL player Steve Gleason a couple of years ago as the pioneer of the new technologies.
